Answers:

  1. Training is required to provide a safe environment and a quality experience for each child and adult at camp.  Team work is critical for a safe and pleasant experience and begins with meeting your fellow volunteers at training. 


     

  2. No; Children are a distraction for you and other members of the class.


     

  3. No; Adult Volunteers must complete all the required training to be eligible to work at camp.  This requirement is dictated by our Girl Scouts of the San Francisco Bay Area insurance policy.  There are no exceptions.


     

  4. Yes; All Adult Volunteers must attend all the required training modules.  New Adult Volunteers must attend all modules.  Third year Adult Volunteers must attend modules III and IV (modules A and IV for Little Hills). 


     

  5. No;  As an Adult Volunteer, your daughter was guaranteed a place in camp.  If you are not able to fulfill your training commitment, your child will NOT attend camp.  


     

  6. No;  Adult volunteers must commit to working all five days of camp.  Job sharing is not allowed.
