The Elves are an important part of Diablo Day Camp. The Elf Program teaches the girls to be responsible young adults. The Elves work closely with the Unit Leaders to deliver the day camp program to the campers. They learn to work well with campers, adults and each other. The campers look up to them as role models. Most elves at Twin Canyon in Lafayette work in pairs in units helping campers build and start fires, prep and cook lunch. Elves lead girls from activity to activity. Some Twin Canyon elves help in core program areas such as crafts, nature and archery, or assist in the hive. Elves at Little Hills Ranch in San Ramon will work in groups of two or three in program areas such as crafts, sports, games and nature. Some elves will be assigned to units helping lead campers from activity to activity. All elves are required to attend and pass
training. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you are unable to attend the
training, please do not apply to be an elf. You may apply to attend day camp as a
camper. Returning Elf Training: Monday, May 12th, 5:30 to 8:30 pm AND Saturday, May 10th for 2 hours OR Saturday, May 31st for 2 hours OR Saturday, June 7th for 2 hours Questions about elf training?
